Lenten Worship
Listening for God in Lent
Center yourself in worship with candle light, Taize chants and lectio divina, Latin for "holy reading". This ancient practice of communing with the scriptures is intended to open us to listening for God's word and will. Following a half hour of worship, a simple meal of soup and bread will be available, with time to share our Lenten journey through a discussion of what comes up in the lectio experience. Wednesdays, March 16, 23, 30, April 6, 13, 6:30 PM
Non-Traditional Worship Opportunities
A Solstice Service is held in conjunction with a candle-lit labyrinith walk in December . The Labyrinth, modeled after the one in Chartres Cathedral, is painted on the floor of the gymnasium at St. Pauls. Other non-traditional worship opportunities may include prayer vigils, Taize services, and healing services.
