Faith and Public Issues

E-mail Print PDF
The Faith and Public Issues program at St. Pauls helps church members and friends explore public issues in the light of their faith. Through these programs we aim to raise the level of discourse about faith perspectives and public issues, throughout our life as a church. The principles on which the program was founded at St. Pauls grew out of the work of Protestants for the Common Good ({http://www.thecommongood.org}), with which St. Pauls is affiliated. Planning for programs is done by a task force that meets monthly on the third Tuesday evening of the month. Programs are scheduled on Sundays at 12:30 p.m. approximately five times a year.

Watch for future Faith and Public Issues Conversations to be publicized on this website. You will be able to reserve space and lunch by e-mail. We hope you will come to listen, learn, and participate. TURKISH-AMERICAN CONVERSATIONS

Following up on last year's dinner series, the Niagara Foundation is inviting St. Pauls individuals, couples and families to help Turkish individuals couples and families improve their English and learn more about American culture.  To get started you can sign up to be matched with people whose interests mirror yours.  Once you meet your match it will be up to you to arrange get-togethers with your new Turkish friends.  Meet as often as you like -- every week, every two weeks or monthly.  connect over coffee, share a meal together or organize a group/family outing.  To volunteer contact BJ Anderson at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
