Community Outreach

E-mail Print PDF

Because we believe that Jesus calls us to a life of service to others, St. Pauls encourages our members to be active in volunteering in our community. We also give 10% of our annual income from pledges and offerings towards outreach. Part of that money goes to support the work of the United Church of Christ through Our Church's Wider Mission (OCWM) and part of it goes to community organizations in the form of annual grants made through our Outreach and Benevolence Committee.

Visit Volunteer for current volunteer opportunites through St. Pauls.

Who We Are
St. Pauls is a vibrant, progressive, Christian community in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. We are a United Church of Christ congregation. Worship is at the heart of our life together, as we make a joyful sound in our city.

With one foot grounded in our faith history, and the other following Jesus into the 21st Century, we are a traditional church, but not conventional. We welcome diversity, and we welcome you - no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey.
